The UK is smaller than many other countries. But it would be wrong to think of the country as ‘small’; it’s very much not! So, your first decision will be to decide which part of the country you’re going to explore since you won’t be able to visit all of it. Things can go pretty ropey when you go off the beaten path, so it’s important that you have a vehicle that can handle the terrain (and weather).
